Ecce Homo

People laugh at a comedy and cry when it's a tragedy. They soften their hearts with a romance and they reflect in reality. But what do they do when it's none of the above, or a combination of love, death and laughter? What do they do when faced with the true magnitude of what life has to offer? We learn to live with what we have, finding solace in dreaming of what we want. All the while we waste precious hours given to us by fate, time, God, nature or whatever you wish to call the architect of life. We work with what we have, and want what we have not, all the while we are bound by the ruthless gravity of what is possible in the passage of time.

The smile in the peripheral. The beating, bleeding heart.
